Meet the Artist: Ande Witt
The prompt: twin graphics depicting two constellations from myth, Andromeda (the imprisoned princess) and Cetus (the monster guarding her). A third design was asked for later on in the process, one memorializing Felicity and Laika, the first dog and cat in space.
When it comes to graphic designs, we think it's important to lean into what makes an artist unique. Both of these graphics are meant to highlight and showcase Goff's personal style of cyber-core mixed with vintage digital art.
Meet the Artist: Skaiiric
This artwork draws inspiration from a well-known North American Cryptid, the Jackalope. The legend of this creature began as a taxidermy novelty, and has since grown to have its own lore. Here, in this specific Jackalope iteration, the idea of a rabbit has been flipped on it's head and re-imagined as a carnivorous creature of the night. The hunted becomes the hunter.
The Problem: Overused styles, iterated on over and over until they lose all meaning.
The Solution: Each collection starts before making the clothes. An idea, reference samples, fabrics, and details all come together to make something special.
